This book grabbed me from the get-go and I could hardly put it down. The characters were superbly developed; I hated the despicable and loved the lovable. I could relate to the people, places and events as if it were much more than an epic fairytale! As the book came to an end, I was sad to see the "movie" in my head wind down because I could go for seeing what Miss Emily's descendants are doing in the later 1800 and 1900's....Product details

This book is a great read. I won't say too much about the plot as I don't want ruin it, just know that it is pulls you in with its detail and poetic language wondering what twist is around the bend. Whether you are a mystery lover, romance lover or just love a good story this is the book that will make you glad you stayed up late reading. Rich evocative language, well drawn intriguing characters and just the right note of whimsy combine to make this the book you will be glad you read this year.
